AI transparency
Artificial intelligence may assist our editorial work, but it does not replace it. This page says how.
What AI never does
- It never writes published articles without human review and approval.
- It never invents facts, quotes, figures or sources: every factual claim traces to a retrievable source recorded in the source manifest.
- It never generates photographs presented as real: every image is a real photograph of the subject, with recorded provenance.
What AI may do
- Assist with transcription, background research and structural drafts.
- Help with style and consistency checks before publication.
Article bylines
Article bylines (Giulia Ferraro, Alessandro Riva, Chiara Colombo, Davide Moretti) are editorial identities of the publication, not real people: they name the desk responsible for each piece. No biography, credential, university, award or personal affiliation is attached to these bylines, and none of them should be understood as a real person.
Responsibility
The newsroom remains fully responsible for every published piece, including parts produced with AI assistance.
